Sometimes on a coverup, I would err on the side of getting a bigger size because it doesn't matter as much with a coverup but definitely get the size that "fits" as the empire-waist drawstring helps pull in excess fabric to a flattering fit. Too big and it'd look too much like a balloon. Love the color! The length is good too - hit mid thigh so not too short to stay feeling comfortable around others in a boat or a dock.
